We're not your average brokers. And that's a good thing.

Johanna Xecominos

Client Care Specialist

Early Years.

Johanna grew up in Perry Hall, went to Perry Hall High, and spent most of her childhood playing sports, being a Tomboy and annoying her two older sisters. Fortunate enough to have parents that loved to travel, she went to a lot of cool places -- like Vegas at 10-years-old and a summer with family in Greece after graduating from Community College of Baltimore, Catonsville. She played soccer in high school and college, and yes -- she has a Big, Fat Greek family. And yes, it's just like the movie.

What we know about Johanna.

Johanna returned from that Greek summer and landed her first real job at Johns Hopkins. She was there for almost 10 years before making the switch into the Insurance Broker world. She comes to us from Silberstein Insurance Group, where she was an Account Coordinator. But her real love? "Being an aunt and watching my nieces and nephews grow. They can now spell and use my sister's phones to call me, text me, and send selfies!"

Fun Facts

Repeat after me. I performed sign language with the first deaf Miss America, Heather Whitestone in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Little Prince. My 8-lb. Yorkie, Spencer, goes to daycare and has his own car seat, doggie basket on my bike, clothes, and enjoys expensive meals. Yep. Spoiled.

She believes in goals. I still play indoor and outdoor soccer and I am on a kickball team in Canton.

Double take. People who I just meet ask me how they know me. Strangers often say hi. I think I have a long lost twin.

Emily Yeakle

Client Manager

Early Years

Born and raised in Baltimore, Emily went to Notre Dame Prep where she played field hockey and lacrosse. In fact, her love for the game had her planning on playing Division III college lacrosse. But who needs planning when you can follow your ever-changing heart? "At the very last minute, I decided to attend Virginia Tech and become a Hokie." (That's Hokie. Not hooky. Sheesh.) Good strategy, Em! At Virginia Tech, our star wore lots of orange, studied Public Relations and Marketing, and pledged Delta Gamma. (Hoki, Hoki, Hoki, Hy!)

What we know about Emily

Charmer in Charm City.

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2013 (Sola-Rex, Sola-Rah!), Emily replanted her roots right back in her hometown. Once settled in Locust Point, she ensconced herself in Baltimore life, starting with her first career at an IT staffing industry. After 2 years, Emily left staffing to join a large healthcare company -- and after about a year, landed at EBS as an Account Manager. (Team! Team! Team!)

Khris Wilson

Client Care Specialist

Early Years:

Khris was born in sunny Manila, Philippines and moved to Baltimore with her family in the early 90s. She attended The Catholic High School of Baltimore and earned her Business degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.

What we know about Khris:

Always in the middle

Growing up as an oft-ignored middle child of four, Khris immersed herself in independent activities such as playing video games, drawing, and reading. As a teenager, she took her first summer job folding and packaging curtains at a textile manufacturer.

She's had pretty cool jobs as an adult, too-her first at a staffing firm founded by a certain billionaire owner of a two-time Super Bowl winning NFL team. No big deal or anything. She then became an associate financial rep at Northwestern Mutual, where she continued her loner-esque streak as a rep in the individual insurance field. In 2012, EBS forced her out of her shell by transitioning her to group insurance.

In the office, fellow colleagues often ask what she is having for lunch. She is a true foodie and is known to eat Chipotle burritos bigger than her face.

Fun Facts

I taught myself English by listening to books on tape. I may not speak Tagalog anymore but I understand my parents when they talk about me to relatives.

Unique, just like 70 million other people. A Myers-Briggs certified INFJ, I am among only 1% of the world's population.

I have three dogs. Wicket the shih-poo, Puddles the cavapoo, and a golden doodle Sperry.

I met my husband in a bar while dressed as Lara Croft. His female friend agreed to pose as his sister. The truth was revealed on our first date

Early Years

An eastern shore native, Beth graduated from Severna Park High School. She then graced the locals by choosing to attend Towson University. Her husband, BJ, was pretty happy about that, too. After years living the sunny life in different states -- she in San Diego and he in West Palm Beach -- the two got hitched and decided to move back home to crab town.

What we know about Beth

She performs somersaults for her clients.

Beth started her career as a Gym Director for a gymnastics facility. She then cartwheeled straight into the insurance biz as a customer service rep at KELLY, where she quickly moved up the latter to become a customer service team leader and trainer before having her first child.
