In a world of spiraling costs, clients in a variety of industries are saving 20 to 40% through our High-Performing Health Plans. You can, too.
It's certainly not news to any employer that the upward trajectory of health costs has been steady and relentless. On a per-capita basis, health spending has increased over 31-fold in the last four decades, from $355 per person in 1970 to $11,172 in 2018.
Even with the introduction of HMOs, PPOs and value-based contracts over the years, the cost of employer-sponsored insurance plans also continues to rise.

Most broker/consultants will go to market on behalf of their clients and present solutions that simply increase out of pocket costs for employees. But these "solutions" never really solve the underlying reasons their carrier is increasing costs.
Our strategy is different. It's measured. It's clear. And it bends the cost curve so our clients can recruit top talent and retain their current employees.

Read MoreThe Early Years: Small Town Girl
Kinsey grew up in Smithsburg, a small Maryland town where everybody knows everybody. Her father was a wrestler at West Virginia University and her parents were high school sweethearts. Her younger brother attends James Madison University. During her high school years, Kinsey loved to hang out in Virginia Beach and she travelled often with her family to and from softball tournaments.
What we know about Kinsey: Well Counseled
Kinsey received a scholarship from UMBC to play softball and graduated from the University with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. Previously, she was an Assistant Teacher for a child with autism at Ivymount School. Someday, she'd like to receive her master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. But most of all, this woman is a huge sports fan. You might spot her at an Orioles or Redskins game if you're lucky!
The ball is in her court: "Although most of my time was filled with softball I also played basketball and volleyball in high school."
She's a great catch: "My sophomore year of college I counted the number of bullpens I caught, and the total turned out to be 130!"
Burn Notice: "One time while on vacation in Miami, I got so burnt that I could not leave my hotel room or move my body for a complete 24 hours."
More Team MembersEarly Years: The strength of sisterhood.
Emily grew up in Newburgh, NY as the youngest of three. With Emily's only sister being five years older and having to share a room with her "annoying little sister," the girls didn't get along very well as children. Luckily, they're extremely close today and both live nearby in Baltimore.
What we know about Emily: Chasing adventure.
After earning her bachelor's degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and completing her Master's program at Catholic University of America, Emily made herself a promise to travel to a new place every year. So far, she's been to Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, multiple countries in southeast Asia, and took a 40-day road trip with her husband to national parks across the U.S. Her family are also avid skiers and try to take annual family ski trips.
Professional bookworm: I love to read! Last year, I surpassed my Goodreads book challenge by reading 59 books!
Experimental cooking: I have a hard time following a recipe without adding my own twist or ingredient to it.
Take a hike: I'm an avid hiker but terrified of snakes, so I've had quite a few run-ins that ended in slight panic attacks.
More Team MembersEarly Years: Gone to the beach
Born in Crownsville, Maryland, Skyler has always lived in Anne Arundel County close to the Severn River. She's the baby of the family with an older brother and sister, and the three siblings grew up playing together near the river. They spent many days fishing, crabbing and enjoying beach life - an attitude that carried into Skyler's adulthood. Now, her family lives within five minutes of their neighborhood beach, and they're raising their children with the same appreciation of the water.
What we know about Skyler: Cooking with the kiddos
Skyler earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She went on to practice real estate, and during her time as an agent she was awarded the "Unsung Hero" award by the Baltimore Real Producers Magazine. Now, when she's not working with us at EBS, Skyler's home cooking delicious meals with her kids, trying out fun new recipes and throwing frequent dance parties in their kitchen.
Dance like no one's watching: If I'm attending a wedding, ten out of ten times, you'll find me on the dance floor.
Happy Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, especially when it coincides with my birthday.
A treat for the whole family: My husband, son, daughter and myself all have birthdays in November within a week of each other. This wasn't at all intentional, but we have so much fun celebrating our birthday week together every year!
More Team MembersEarly years
Candice grew up near Solomons Island in Southern MD -- which makes her "crabby" in a good way. "Not much to do but go to the beach or take boat rides," she reports. She thought it was totally boring growing up. "Now I have a whole new appreciation for my hometown. It's beautiful and I would love to have access to a beach 24/7 again!" She attended Patuxent High School and Towson University, where she majored in Business and Corporate Communication Studies and Creative Writing.
What we know about Candice
Three cheers!
As a former cheerleader, Candice remains an enthusiastic team member. She broke into the industry as an intern at Armada Consulting, then joined Sun Life Financial right out of college. Before joining EBS, Candice worked for Silberstein Insurance Group as their Marketing Manager. Candice has two sisters and a brother (two in the industry!).
She's a DARE Bear. I was in an anti-drug commercial for DARE when I was a kid that played on our local channels until I was in high school (I sang and participated in a VERY cheesy dance)... I pray all time that someone somewhere has finally destroyed any evidence of this!
She's inspired by sweets. I replicated van Gogh's "Starry Night" in icing for my sister's birthday using a slew of cupcakes and Thin Mint cookies.
