In a world of spiraling costs, clients in a variety of industries are saving 20 to 40% through our High-Performing Health Plans. You can, too.
It's certainly not news to any employer that the upward trajectory of health costs has been steady and relentless. On a per-capita basis, health spending has increased over 31-fold in the last four decades, from $355 per person in 1970 to $11,172 in 2018.
Even with the introduction of HMOs, PPOs and value-based contracts over the years, the cost of employer-sponsored insurance plans also continues to rise.

Most broker/consultants will go to market on behalf of their clients and present solutions that simply increase out of pocket costs for employees. But these "solutions" never really solve the underlying reasons their carrier is increasing costs.
Our strategy is different. It's measured. It's clear. And it bends the cost curve so our clients can recruit top talent and retain their current employees.

Read MoreCorporations both large and small invest millions of dollars around their employee benefits programs each year. At EBS, we feel it is our responsibility to help educate, bring awareness to, and ensure that your employees have a clear understanding of all that is offered to them. We communicate this by using several outstanding methods that make it easier than ever to understand - and work with - everything offered.

Read MoreEarly Years: Light up the Stage!
Growing up in Hampden in northern Baltimore, Hope's stage presence became obvious at a young age. She sang with her church choir, school choirs, and in school musicals. She even took home the $50 grand prize during a middle school talent show! Her courage to perform for large audiences drove her to audition and win acceptance into the All-County and All-State Choirs, and she even performed at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. No stage fright here!
What we know about Hope:
Hiking her way to EBS
In the summer, we most often find Hope with her Chocolate Lab fur-baby, Kona, playing at the dog park, hiking mountain trails, or swimming at the beach. Hope says, "I am a summer girl, so you'll find me outside in the warm sun, any chance I get." She certainly loves to enjoy the outdoors, but now that she has hiked her way to EBS, Hope's a ray of sunshine for our team as well!
Hitting it outta the park: I performed at Oriole Park while singing the National Anthem with the Perry Hall High School Chamber Choir.
This one time, at band camp? I was the Pom Captain for my high school marching band's pom squad, and during practice I was attacked by wild geese.
Rap it out: I can rap every word to Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back."
The Mad Food Scientist: I will eat soup and crabs all year round - soup even in 100-degree weather, and crabs for Christmas. I also like odd food mixtures such as burnt popcorn and ketchup. (No judgement until you try it!)
More Team MembersEarly Years: Home is where the cats are
Alexis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with three sisters and a brother. Every one of her family members is a big cat person, and throughout her life, they've had nine cats. Alexis's favorite cat is PJ - who they named after the only dog they ever had, Puff Jr. When Alexis was in middle school, her parents packed up the cats and the kids and moved to Chestertown, Maryland, and Alexis has lived in the area ever since.
What we know about Alexis: Life is better in flip flops
Alexis studied biology and dental assisting at Towson University, Chesapeake Community College, and Anne Arundel Community College. During this time, she was also a competitive cheerleader. Her team, the Maryland Twisters, competed at the Cheerleading Worlds twice. Nowadays, when Alexis's not at EBS, she's at the beach. A devoted beach girl, she lived in Ocean City, Maryland for two summers, and any weekend between May and September, she and her husband will be there soaking up the sun and longboarding the streets. They even got married on the beach at 59th St. and have a lock on the fishing pier.
Let's see those pearly whites: I was a childhood print model, and I'm on a friend-to-friend birthday card - it's available on Amazon.
A major bright spot: My middle name is Starr.
Z, Y, X, W: I can sing the ABCs backward.
More Team MembersEarly Years: One big, travel-happy family
Both of Taylor's parents attended Fredonia State, and they met when her dad decided to "love tap" her mom with his car. They went on to have four girls - even though Taylor's dad is the youngest of four boys, Taylor is the oldest, and one of her younger, twin sisters has Down Syndrome. Living in Rochester, New York, their family likes to spend their summers on Canandaigua Lake, and Taylor frequently traveled for weekend lacrosse tournaments. Many tournaments brought her to Maryland, and we're lucky they did! She now lives in Baltimore City with her quarantine puppy, Whiskey.
What we know about Taylor: Just one more scoop
Taylor worked for five years at an ice cream parlor, making her practically a professional ice cream scooper. She then channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Towson University, and she took a marketing class on "Marketing in the Shadows of Bordeaux Vineyards" while studying abroad. As our Culture & Communication Specialist at EBS, we appreciate Taylor's well-traveled, marketing background, but most of all we love her ice cream scooping experience!
Quarantined before it was cool: I was quarantined way before 2020. When I was two years old, I was quarantined for 10 days with an unknown rash. It was later diagnosed as Kawasaki disease.
Let's see those pearly whites! I won best smile in junior and senior high school.
Christmas in November: My due date was supposed to be Christmas Day. I celebrate Christmas for as long as possible every year and start blaring Christmas music on the first day of November!
More Team MembersEarly Years: Layups, fast pitch and spikes, oh my.
Born in Baltimore, Amber grew up as one of four kids and has always been the baby of the family. In high school, she played varsity basketball, softball and volleyball, and she hit the road constantly to play in softball travel tournaments. She later attended Anne Arundel Community College where she was named an All-American shortstop for softball and an All-Region goalkeeper for soccer.
What we know about Amber: Nurses call the shots.
From Anne Arundel Community College, Amber transferred to Guilford College to study nursing and psychology. After graduation, Amber pursued a career as a nurse, which gave her a firsthand understanding of the health insurance industry. Now, she is very excited to be on the EBS team, approaching health insurance from a completely different angle.
Get your game on: As a sports fanatic, I am unsurprisingly very competitive. It's even a race to see who gets the mail first.
Hit or be hit: My husband and I love to play football in the yard with our 10-year-old twin boys. Our 5-year-old daughter especially loves to "tackle" her brothers.
Life's better at the beach: Our family has actually lived in six states in 10 years, but we are finally ready to settle down in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
