Most broker/consultants will go to market on behalf of their clients and present solutions that simply increase out of pocket costs for employees. But these "solutions" never really solve the underlying reasons their carrier is increasing costs.
Our strategy is different. It's measured. It's clear. And it bends the cost curve so our clients can recruit top talent and retain their current employees.

Here are a few questions that can help you make an accurate assessment...
Read MoreBecause EBS has invested in re-directing the employee benefits process and re-educating our clients and staff, other brokers have noticed. As a result, many have asked us to partner with them in managing their own corporate clients.
Read MoreCorporations both large and small invest millions of dollars around their employee benefits programs each year. At EBS, we feel it is our responsibility to help educate, bring awareness to, and ensure that your employees have a clear understanding of all that is offered to them. We communicate this by using several outstanding methods that make it easier than ever to understand - and work with - everything offered.
Read MoreThe world of employee benefits can be a treacherous path to navigate without the right partner. Recent regulation has made it even more difficult for businesses to remain in compliance.
Don't be left in the dark when it comes to understanding your employer responsibilities. With the increased scope of regulation, we feel auditing performed by the Department of Labor will cover all group sizes with greater intensity.

Rip grew up right in Baltimore with his parents and younger sister, and they are huge sports fans for everything Maryland: Orioles, Ravens, and Terrapins. Rip attended the Gilman School where he won the Redmon C. S. Finney Award for promoting diversity and social civility in the student body. After graduating from the University of Richmond as a religious studies major with a focus in the humanities, he went directly to teaching eighth grade English.
What we know about Rip: Che buono!
Ever since he was young, Rip has loved getting together and cooking for family and friends as well as trying out different local restaurants in Baltimore and D.C. His father part-owned a northern Italian restaurant while Rip was in school, and it inspired him to study abroad in Italy and learn Italian. (But really, he just can't get enough of the food.) Rip enjoys reading and learning about new cultures, so we were proud to learn he joined EBS after hearing about our company culture!
The American Original: Half my family is from Kansas City, and my grandfather was the creator of KC Masterpiece barbeque sauce.
Constant hustle! My family has had Ravens season tickets ever since they moved to Baltimore and started playing at Memorial Stadium.
Less weeds, more green: I love landscaping and working outside. (It's probably my only artistic ability, aside from being a drummer in high school.)

Khris was born in sunny Manila, Philippines and moved to Baltimore with her family in the early 90s. She attended The Catholic High School of Baltimore and earned her Business degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
What we know about Khris:
Talk techy to me.
Growing up as a kid, back when Google wasn't a household name yet and dial-up connections were both deafening and slow, Khris embraced the digital media world and began creating her own personal websites and blogs for fun at age 12. Though she has no formal technical education, she carries the same enthusiasm for technology to her role at EBS.
I taught myself English by listening to books on tape. I may not speak Tagalog anymore but I understand my parents when they talk about me to relatives.
Unique, just like 70 million other people. A Myers-Briggs certified INFJ, I am among only 1% of the world's population.
I have three dogs. Wicket the shih-poo, Puddles the cavapoo, and a golden doodle Sperry.
I met my husband in a bar while dressed as Lara Croft. His female friend agreed to pose as his sister. The truth was revealed on our first date
More Team MembersEarly Years: One big, travel-happy family
Both of Taylor's parents attended Fredonia State, and they met when her dad decided to "love tap" her mom with his car. They went on to have four girls - even though Taylor's dad is the youngest of four boys, Taylor is the oldest, and one of her younger, twin sisters has Down Syndrome. Living in Rochester, New York, their family likes to spend their summers on Canandaigua Lake, and Taylor frequently traveled for weekend lacrosse tournaments. Many tournaments brought her to Maryland, and we're lucky they did! She now lives in Baltimore City with her quarantine puppy, Whiskey.
What we know about Taylor: Just one more scoop
Taylor worked for five years at an ice cream parlor, making her practically a professional ice cream scooper. She then channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Towson University, and she took a marketing class on "Marketing in the Shadows of Bordeaux Vineyards" while studying abroad. As our marketing coordinator at EBS, we appreciate Taylor's well-traveled, marketing background, but most of all we love her ice cream scooping experience!
Quarantined before it was cool: I was quarantined way before 2020. When I was two years old, I was quarantined for 10 days with an unknown rash. It was later diagnosed as Kawasaki disease.
Let's see those pearly whites! I won best smile in junior and senior high school.
Christmas in November: My due date was supposed to be Christmas Day. I celebrate Christmas for as long as possible every year and start blaring Christmas music on the first day of November!

Born in Arlington, Sarah's family moved to Laurel before settling in Shrewsbury, PA when she was 10. Except for a brief stint in Cockeysville from 2009-2012, "I've lived in PA ever since. I had not even flown on a plane until my honeymoon to Orlando!" Since then, she's traveled to Florida, Maine, Nevada and Mexico. Although a clarinet, soccer, gymnastics and color guard member in high school, she happily prefers books and numbers. "My youth was spent studying." No wonder she graduated with a 4.2 GPA (4 out of 250 in her class!). Sarah earned her BS in Economics from Penn State.
What we know about Sarah: Being smart has its benefits
After ten years helping her clients get the most out of their benefits - two with Crawford Advisors and eight years with The Warner Companies - EBS swooped Sarah up. "I have a passion for manipulating numbers and data to create solutions for our clients," she admits. She's also addicted to Red Bull (a great start to any morning)! But the great love of her life is daughter, Zoe (7 months at the time of this writing). There is simply not enough storage in her cell phone to store the photos!
Sarah earned her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation and is presently studying for her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certificate.
Pizza Queen. My husband and I ate so much pizza in 2011 that Papa John's sent us a free copy of Madden NFL 12 for the PS3.
Her Life is Magical. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. My house is Slytherin and my Patronus is a King COBRA.
Film Geek. Huge cinephiles, my husband and I recite quotes from our favorite movies to each other.
No Achy Breaky . . . Anything! I've never broken a bone and I still have all four of my wisdom teeth.
