Kelli Argo

Client Care Specialist

Early Years:

Born in Maryland, Kelli is the oldest of three sisters. Always one to stay active, this kid sashayed her way into dance class at age five and kept dancing for 10 years! Kelli also played high school softball and, later, actively sought out adventure by studying abroad in Spain for three wonderful months while a student at the University of Delaware.

What we know about Kelli

After college, Kelli embarked on a career as a reporter for a weekly paper in Dover, Delaware. It took her just three years to realize the small salary wasn't going to cut it forever. After bartending to pay off debts, she ditched the booze and became dazzled by the world of insurance. "For seven years, I worked for State Farm and, as cheesy as it sounds, I really became that good neighbor my clients could count on."

After working as a benefits advisor and training specialist for KELLY, she joined EBS in early 2017. "For the first time ever, I feel like I've found my forever work home. I look forward to servicing our clients and helping our team grow the business for years to come." Aw, shucks. We feel the same way!

Fun Facts

Good Fake! One night, I asked this guy Eric to be my pretend boyfriend to keep a creepy older gentleman from hitting on me at a bar. It became pretty obvious he wasn't actually my boyfriend when we later exchanged numbers! No matter. The pretend boyfriend is now my husband!

Ok . . . Another Good Fake! I have a tiny tattoo on my foot, but my decision to get one was far from spontaneous. I wore a fake tattoo for a week to make sure I liked it first.

Getting Real. I am obsessed with being a mom. I never knew I could love a person so much. Madison "Maddie" has my heart! Eric - don't be jealous!

Just No. I am far from a picky eater but strongly dislike peas. They are gross.

Beth Appel

Client Care Specialist

An eastern shore native, Beth graduated from Severna Park High School. She then graced the locals by choosing to attend Towson University. Her husband, BJ, was pretty happy about that, too. What we know about Beth

She performs somersaults for her clients.

Beth started her career as a Gym Director for a gymnastics facility. She then cartwheeled straight into the insurance biz as a customer service rep at KELLY, where she quickly moved up the latter to become a customer service team leader and trainer before having her first child.

Fun Facts

She's got great taste in past times. I spend my free time playing with my one-year-old daughter, Blakely, or watching Netflix.

She puts her money where her mouth is. I love a good brewery tour, wine tasting, and going out to dinner around Baltimore. I also like to I like to bake!

She walks the walk. I hiked the Grand Canyon rim to river and back in 2010 with a friend.

Hillary Gilson

Client Care Specialist

Early years: A Baltimore Story

Hillary was a city girl until she moved with her parents and younger brother from Baltimore to the Towson 'burbs at age 13. She attended Mercy High and proudly wore the red and white until she graduated in 2006. A Maryland girl at heart, Hillary then chose to attend Salisbury University, graduating with a Psychology degree in 2010. She also played the field - "soccer basketball, cross country, and track" to be exact-all through middle school and high school.

What we know about Hillary: From IPAs to Insurance

"After college graduation, I thought I might want to go back to school to become a therapist, but then realized it wasn't for me," she explains. Unsure what she wanted to do in life, she decided to hone her people skills working for DuClaw Brewing Company as a waitress and then as an office assistant for the corporate office. From there, she fell hard for the insurance industry. "I worked at KELLY as an enrollment specialist from 2013-2018 and found that I really enjoy working in the insurance industry!" But her happiest role to date is being married to hubby Corey and the proud mom of Brody.

Fun Facts

Ola, cutie! I met my husband on my cousin's destination wedding in Mexico in 2009 - we were both in the wedding party and walked down the aisle together, clicked during the week, and went on our first official date when we returned. We've been together ever since!

Master Hostess. I LOVE to cook, mainly because I love to eat. Nothing is better than inviting friends and family over for dinner, having a few drinks and eating delicious food. I find it very relaxing.

She needs her 'Flix fix. I love to binge watch Netflix when I have the time and have even been known to take the rare day off from work and mom duties to spend the day watching my faves!

Heather Rubie

Heather grew up in Baltimore County with her Mom and younger sister. Heather made the cheerleading team in high school and was chosen as varsity MVP her freshman year. She then attended University of Baltimore and graduated with a Bachelors in Human Services Administration. She later settled in Cantonsville with her husband Mark and their son Tasker Kole.

What we know about Heather: The grass is greener on the golf course

Though Heather is a huge Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan, her secret love is professional golf. Before she joined us at EBS, Heather worked a summer job as the beverage cart driver for Rolling Road Golf Club for five years. But now that she's rolled in to EBS, we're so happy to have her!

Fun Facts

What's your sun sign? My mom, sister, husband, son and I are all peaceful Libras.

Get on your bikes and ride! I grew up in a biker family, but I?m the "black sheep" because I am by far the most conservative of us all.

Record scratching: I love music, and I have an extensive collection of vinyl records in a variety of genres.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black: We named our two cats Bellatrix and Narcissa as a nod to the two (mostly) villainous Harry Potter characters.
