Khris Wilson

Client Care Manager

Early Years:

Khris was born in sunny Manila, Philippines and moved to Baltimore with her family in the early 90s. She attended The Catholic High School of Baltimore and earned her Business degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.

What we know about Khris:

Talk techy to me.

Growing up as a kid, back when Google wasn't a household name yet and dial-up connections were both deafening and slow, Khris embraced the digital media world and began creating her own personal websites and blogs for fun at age 12. Though she has no formal technical education, she carries the same enthusiasm for technology to her role at EBS.

Fun Facts

I taught myself English by listening to books on tape. I may not speak Tagalog anymore but I understand my parents when they talk about me to relatives.

Unique, just like 70 million other people. A Myers-Briggs certified INFJ, I am among only 1% of the world's population.

I have three dogs. Wicket the shih-poo, Puddles the cavapoo, and a golden doodle Sperry.

I met my husband in a bar while dressed as Lara Croft. His female friend agreed to pose as his sister. The truth was revealed on our first date

Amy Gorman

Senior Implementation Specialist

Early Years: Ready to Get Her Hands Dirty

Growing up in Ellicott City, Maryland, Amy was an only child - except for a spastic Weimaraner. The pup was as close as a sibling, since Amy took the blame whenever she broke things or chewed-up comforters. Through her parent's employment, Amy had the opportunity to travel and loved experiencing different parts of Europe with her parents. She even channeled her interest in art and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for painting an exhibit at the National Cryptologic Museum in Maryland. Amy later studied photography and psychology at Howard Community College but felt she learned better outside the classroom.

What we know about Amy: Fun in the Sun

Amy loves to travel anywhere warm: Aruba, the Florida Keys, the Virgin Islands, but no cruises. She prefers all-inclusive resorts where she can double-fist daiquiris, rather than being stranded on a random rock or contracting the plague aboard a ship.

Fun Facts

Training with the best: I got my black belt in martial arts when I was 12, and I started teaching adult classes.

Who's the Boss? Tony Danza almost knocked me over in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican. He's quite short, by the way.

Crunchy candy only! I am terrified of all things "gummy." Gummy worms, gummy bears, Jell-O, everything. They legitimately freak me out.

Heather Rubie

Sr. Client Care Specialist

Early Years: Eat, sleep, cheer, repeat.

Heather grew up in Baltimore County with her Mom and younger sister. Heather made the cheerleading team in high school and was chosen as varsity MVP her freshman year. She then attended University of Baltimore and graduated with a Bachelors in Human Services Administration. She later settled in Cantonsville with her husband Mark and their son Tasker Kole.

What we know about Heather: The grass is greener on the golf course

Though Heather is a huge Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan, her secret love is professional golf. Before she joined us at EBS, Heather worked a summer job as the beverage cart driver for Rolling Road Golf Club for five years. But now that she's rolled in to EBS, we're so happy to have her!

Fun Facts

What's your sun sign? My mom, sister, husband, son and I are all peaceful Libras.

Get on your bikes and ride! I grew up in a biker family, but I'm the "black sheep" because I am by far the most conservative of us all.

Record scratching: I love music, and I have an extensive collection of vinyl records in a variety of genres.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black: We named our two cats Bellatrix and Narcissa as a nod to the two (mostly) villainous Harry Potter characters.

Christy Rothstein

Client Care Specialist

Early Years: Family is everything

Christy lived her entire life growing up in Pasadena, Maryland. She and her sister, Heather, were incredibly close growing up. They played board games, fought some days, and danced the night away together. And even though she was younger, Heather was always the one to stick up for Christy if someone broke her heart. Christy loved her childhood home and swore she would never move out of Pasadena, but after she married her husband, they moved to Severen, Maryland to raise their five kids. Luckily, they?ve never looked back.

What we know about Christy: Busy, busy bee

After graduating from Northeast High School in Pasadena with four varsity letters and her class?s valedictorian, Christy went on to pursue a bachelor?s degree at the University of Maryland. Her jam-packed high school schedule continued into college: She was part of a sorority, worked on the side, was raising children, and graduated with degrees in both medical assisting and business management ? all in less than four years. We?re lucky to have Christy?s dedication and go-getter attitude here with us at EBS.

Fun Facts

Do-re-mi: I love to sing! I will sing most anything. My kids are always watching me run around the house cleaning, cooking, dancing, and always singing.

A shark in the pool: When I was younger, I was on the swim team and known for the backstroke. I placed first in every competition I competed in.

Wine and friends are a great blend: Exploring different wineries with friends is one of my favorite hobbies ? that and drinking the wine.

Erin Stargel

Client Care Specialist

Early Years: Food tastes better with family.

As the second of four girls with twin younger sisters, Erin was considered the black sheep with constant "middle child syndrome." Always prioritizing family time, Erin's mother would force the girls together for family dinner every night. Though at the time Erin hated it, now those conversations and laughs are some of her favorite memories and have shaped her family-first values.

What we know about Erin: High school romance.

Erin married her high school sweetheart. The two dated from freshman to senior year, even participating in "Senior Skip Day" in 10th grade. They were caught and suspended together but continued dating - until he broke up with her two weeks before prom. She still holds this over his head! When they started dating again, he brought along an amazing daughter, and they then added two more kids to their family. While swimming at the local pool with her kids, another working mom mentioned EBS to Erin, and just like that she joined the team.

Fun Facts

Hello, officer! I have never had a speeding ticket ... *knock on wood.*

Doggy deadlifts: I'm not a big drinker, but every time I do, I always end up picking my 100-pound dog.

What's in a name? When my daughter Harper was a toddler, she begged us for "eatin' ducks." We had no idea what she meant until Easter when she showed us a box of Peeps. Now, in our house, Peeps are 'eatin' ducks," turkeys are "fall chickens" and crows are "witch eagles."

Alexis Hillyer

Enrollment Specialist

Early Years: Home is where the cats are

Alexis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with three sisters and a brother. Every one of her family members is a big cat person, and throughout her life, they?ve had nine cats. Alexis?s favorite cat is PJ ? who they named after the only dog they ever had, Puff Jr. When Alexis was in middle school, her parents packed up the cats and the kids and moved to Chestertown, Maryland, and Alexis has lived in the area ever since.

What we know about Alexis: Life is better in flip flops

Alexis studied biology and dental assisting at Towson University, Chesapeake Community College, and Anne Arundel Community College. During this time, she was also a competitive cheerleader. Her team, the Maryland Twisters, competed at the Cheerleading Worlds twice. Nowadays, when Alexis?s not at EBS, she?s at the beach. A devoted beach girl, she lived in Ocean City, Maryland for two summers, and any weekend between May and September, she and her husband will be there soaking up the sun and longboarding the streets. They even got married on the beach at 59th St. and have a lock on the fishing pier.

Fun Facts

Let?s see those pearly whites: I was a childhood print model, and I?m on a friend-to-friend birthday card ? it?s available on Amazon.

A major bright spot: My middle name is Starr.

Z, Y, X, W: I can sing the ABCs backward.

Dina Lansinger

Enrollment Specialist

Early Years: A wheel in hand and four on the road

Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, Dina was one of six siblings ? an even split of three boys and three girls. The large family would take road trips across the country in their station wagon, stopping to camp along the way. When they weren?t traveling cross-country, they?d often go to the ocean as a family.

What we know about Dina: Family is our team

In high school, Dina was a member of the soccer team and played tennis recreationally. After graduating, she attended Towson University where she majored in psychology. Today, she continues many of her childhood and high school pastimes with her kids. She still enjoys going to the beach and hiking with her family, and she?ll travel anywhere to cheer on her kids at their sporting events.

Fun Facts

It?s different when it?s live: I love music and going to concerts. My favorite is seeing the Avett Brothers perform live.

Handiwork in progress: I build furniture and enjoy DIY renovation projects around the house.

Game, set, match. Tennis is a favorite sport of mine to watch. My favorite professional player is Swiss tennis player, Roger Federer.
